2 things that fail the most in Xbox controllers, the joysticks (which cause stick drift) and the bumpers. Both of which can be fixed, unless you actually damaged your controller.

If you have tried to fix the controller yourself and you've removed the copper pads, it's probably not worth saving or fixing.
Please update your controller to the latest firmware. If the firmware not is at least 5.22.16.0 the modules may not be calibrated. They will be centered though.
TMR potentiometer use magnets, no contact they can't wear out.
Wiper potentiometers use, well a wiper, they can wear out as they have to make contact.
Yes, I can change the modules in your already modded controller. However, if anything happens to the mod I don't have spare parts to fix it.
